🍽️ Every Bite for His Glory

1 Corinthians 10:31 Devotional

📖 “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)

📝 Reflection

Some days, I serve dinner with candles and music.

Other days, it’s chicken nuggets on paper towels with a side of “please just eat something.”

But here’s the truth I’m learning:

Every meal—no matter how simple or chaotic—can be holy.

God isn’t waiting for gourmet. He’s not grading your plating. He’s present in the macaroni moments. He’s glorified in the little ways we serve the ones we love, even when it’s just slicing apples or wiping sticky fingers.

That school lunch? Worship.

That toddler snack plate? Worship.

That drive-thru dinner when you’re running late for church? Yep… even that.

When we offer it with thankfulness and a heart that says, “Lord, this is for You,” He receives it.

🙏 Prayer

Lord,

Let me see You in the everyday moments—especially around the table.

Whether it’s a beautifully set meal or a barely-thrown-together snack, help me offer it all to You.

Make my kitchen a place of grace.

Make my parenting an act of praise.

And remind me that even the crumbs can glorify You.

Amen.

What’s one “ordinary” thing you’re offering to God today?

Is it a meal, a chore, or maybe just showing up with a tired but willing heart?
